Toronto - Wild thunderstorms reaped havoc across the GTA over the weekend, with more wild weather still to come.
The rain, thunder-lighting and wind that pounded the GTA for Father's Day had an impact on trips to the cottage, golf games and other activities.
City crews continued to haul away downed trees -- at least one struck a car in Scarborough. Two people were inside at the time, but no one was hurt.
According to 680News meteorologist, Brian Hill, stormy conditions will be the norm for the GTA this week. "We don't have a rain-free day in the forecast only until we get to Friday," Hill said.
Hill added temperatures will be about seven degrees cooler than what they should be for this time of year.
